Cold Frisco Nights
On a cool evening in San Francisco’s Mission District, the streets came alive for Cold Frisco Nights, an event celebrating the rich culture and artistry of the San Francisco Lowrider Council. Since 1981, the council has brought together Lowrider clubs and solo riders, showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of these iconic vehicles. With custom paint jobs gleaming under streetlights and the unmistakable bounce of hydraulics, the event was a vibrant tribute to the Lowrider scene and the community that keeps it thriving.
Cold Frisco Nights

Capturing the essence of the night, Chris leaned into the moody, atmospheric lighting, using the camera’s low-light capabilities to highlight the intricate details of each car and the people behind them. The final treatment embraced a subtle filmic grade, enhancing the warmth and nostalgia of the scene while preserving its raw authenticity. The result was a series of images that celebrated not just the cars, but the culture, passion, and legacy of Lowriding in San Francisco.
